It's been 3 years since Gallows released their sophomore album Grey Britain, and today the hardcore outfit have announced they are starting work on album number three.

As yet the new record remains untitled, but September is when fans can expect it be released. The Watford based band have also announced that the new album will be released via their own label, Venn Records. The label will be launched in partnership with PIAS, and they have strong feelings about the music industry.

"For the last seven years we have trudged step by step through the dark sewers of the music industry," says the band. "Shaking hands with snakes and signing contracts drafted by thieves with perfect teeth. We are happy to announce that we have become part of the problem. All hail Venn Records."

Gallows will also be playing the following dates over the summer:

  • Sat 26-May Slam Dunk Festival North, Leeds
  • Sun 27-May Slam Dunk Festival South, Hatfield
  • Fri 8-June Donington Download Festival, Headline Red Bull Stage
