Gauntlet Hair have announced their new album Stills will be released on 15th July via Dead Oceans. The first single to be taken from the album is 'Human Nature', a much darker feat compared to the noise pop buzz they've previously produced. The Chicago duo have cited different influences for their new offering. "White Zombie, Marilyn Manson — the production on those records is so amazing. Nothing sounds like that anymore," says drummer Craig Nice.

These heavier, industrial essences are the visible foundations of 'Human Nature'. The bass-driven beat is gloomy with the droning, bitter vocal lending it a partly-disturbing tone. It explodes into a louder scattered beat with stalking synths, and the same vocal in tow, sounding like their old and newer sounds have been caught in a crossfire.
