Maybe a fitting video to drop on Halloween. It's for Gazelle Twin's track 'Exorcise', which features stress-inducing synth bubblings, BARKING, noise and distortion, a mania of nightmarish sound and pre-exorcism vocals. The synth in the last part of this song is quite something, I love that modulating, mechanical-ghost-whisper sound. The vocal gets chopped minutely and stutters for the rest of the track. Kick drum is gloriously distorted.

The video features some odd synchronised dancing in blue exercise clothes – she's also wearing this living doll type thing over her face. Part exercise, part exorcism, VHS aesthetics abound, making it all the more freaky. Maybe it's just me but there's something Twin Peaks-y about this video. Also, the fact that at the end it just changes into a regular home video makes it seem as if it could just be a bit of found footage. WEIRD but I like it. Do you?

Discover: This album is stunning.
