In the 17th century, Gentlemen were the lowest rank of the English gentry, classified below an esquire but above a yeoman. In the 21st century they are a 5-piece band from east London making seductive, laid back indie-pop at its finest. Their sound is crafted in slick Ariel Pink-esque instrumentation and inventive electronic elements, and can be caught in the flesh at Soho's St. Moritz Club on March 20th Soho or at the Old Blue Last on 3rd April.
