Diana Ross, Janet Jackson and George Michael are great influences to have. And George Maple blends their impact on her into the artist's first sonic delivery of the year. 'Kryptonite' is from her forthcoming debut album, which is slated for delivery later this year and was written for all the brave souls who have risked their hearts on love.

"I wrote this song for the lovers, the fighters, the broken hearted, the wild ones, the shy girl, for anyone who has ever felt like running naked into the wilderness with no purpose except to be free," she explains. "I wanted this song to be a celebration of acceptance, love, freedom and spirit. It is about letting go, finding pleasure in imperfections, celebrating community rather than battling ego, embracing sexuality in all forms, expelling stereotypes and tearing off the shackles that hold us back."
