Alt-pop singer, songwriter and producer Georgia is rounding off 2018 in style with a new single called 'Started Out'. It follows up this year's 'Mellow', and further demonstrates the artist's compelling development. Georgia tells us about 'Started Out', saying:

“Started Out is about that exciting sensation that comes from the beginning of something, maybe meeting someone for the first time and getting a sensation/thrill out of it all. It’s hard to maintain though, and you don’t want to lose it. But we can be bold, take risks, be young fools, and not be able to understand what it all means but know that someone will love us for it.”

Embedded within the writhing bass and delicious tics that underpin 'Started Out' is the primal feeling of unbridled excitement, shot through with that ever-present doubt about the future. Georgia seizes on these feelings in her vocals, which ride the beat in a sultry and human fashion, encapsulating an entire arc of joy to disappointment - all held within one imaginary moment.
