Australian duo Geowulf have followed up their debut Great Big Blue with the spirited ‘I See Red’, an upbeat and spirited slice of dream-pop. The track sees the band team up with Justin Parks (Bat For Lashes, Lana Del Rey) and delivers expectedly hazy, sun-soaked outcome. Although the song is a soft, dusky and all encompassing, the inspiration for its subject matter is far more heated.

Speaking on this, lead singer Star Kendrick commented: “I See Red was written after an argument with my sister… The song was a realisation that you are only ever your most raw, horrible self when you’re with the people you love to death and who love you.”

‘I See Red’ is the first taster of the new album that explores loneliness, heartbreak and breakups in great detail and is expected later in 2019.
