On 4 May, HBO will air the brand new Kurt Cobain documentary titled Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. The film was executive produced by his daughter, Francis Bean Cobain, and now the first trailer for the doc has surfaced.

Even just from the few minutes of the trailer it looks to be an incredibly intimate look into the life of one of alt rock's most legendary (and missed) frontmen. A press release states that it will include "dozens of Nirvana songs and performances as well as previously unheard Cobain originals" as well as a never-before-heard 12 minute acoustic song from Cobain. It promises to be a "no-holds-barred access to Kurt Cobain’s archives, home to his never-before-seen home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, personal archives, family archives and songbooks."
