On paper, Gina Kushka quite possibly has all the makings of a proper pop star. Born in South Africa but now based in London, Kuskha began singing and performing at the age of five, bought her first guitar at 11, and extended her talents upon moving to London to study painting at the Courtauld Institute of Art.

Since completing her studies, Kushka has been in full-time music mode working with a variety of producers, including the incredibly talented Jay Weathers who produced her debut online drop; the idyllic 'Mid Air' as well as her latest release 'Bring It Down' which sits somewhere at the crossroads at which hip-hop meets pop perfection to remarkably rousing results. It's aggressive, yet pensive with a sweetened edge. Stick around for that second chorus that's filled with more twists and turns than a roller coaster alongside Kushka's booming vocal. Keep your eyes and ears peeled on this one.
