Girls may have split up last month but that doesn't stop us loving them, especially if little gems like this continue to surface. This is an early rendition of 'Forgiveness' taken from a session the band performed for the radio station WNYU which has been kindly posted by their American label True Panther.

The song was recorded way back in 2008 while Christopher Owens and co were promoting the single 'Hellhole Ratrace' from their debut album. 'Forgivness' eventually evolved into the eight minute epic we know now from their second full length record Father, Son, Holy Ghost which builds up to a loud and wonderful guitar crashing crescendo. This acoustic version just reinforces why we're going to miss this band so god damn much.
