Outside of pumping out new material with the likes of Four Tet and Dun Deal, Atlanta futurist rapper Rome Fortune has been touring alongside UK upstarts Glass Animals. Naturally, both sides plugged together and found creative strengths in the brand new rework of the band's single 'Hazey'.

From Glass Animals' debut full-length LP Zaba, which managed to crack numerous Top 10 lists for The 405's "Best Album's Of 2014 So Far" rankings, the newly remodelled 'Hazey' lets Fortune take almost complete control of the effort while Glass Animals cement the tracks wondrous funk-addled vibes. Despite what might seem like unfamiliar territory - a Southern U.S. rapper and a band of English indie youngsters - both sides mesh inexplicably well.

"He actually did the verses over the original track, but when I heard them I thought the music could be made to fit his voice and tone a bit more tightly," Glass Animals member Dave Baley notes. "We asked him to come on tour with us and it's been wicked. Him joining us on stage keeps us all on our toes."
