What a difference a year makes as Apple loses its top spot of most valuable brand to Google as the valuation of the search giant nears an almost astronomical sum of $158,843,000. That is a lot of Freddos if that's how you measure capital.

The study was conducted by Millward Brown who do the yearly BrandZ survey to see which brand comes out on top. Companies such as Coca Cola, Visa & Marlboro are all part of the study with McDonalds ranking third.

Facebook on the other hand, has dropped 10 places to 21st spot, which is obviously going to be a problem come Mark Zuckerberg's 30th birthday speech later this year.
