The Grammy Awards are always fantastic, not because of the performances or the rightful nominees picking up an award, but because we're about five hours behind so we end up drinking our morning coffee whilst piecing together what happened. A fascinating process I'm sure you'll all agree.

It seems these were the main talking points:

  1. Lorde won a million awards, which is nice I suppose.
  2. Daft Punk a bunch of awards, which has mroe to do with people wanting them to speak (they didn't, Pharell did that on their behalf).
  3. Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl, and Lindsey Buckingham closed the show with 'Copy of A' and 'Ny God Is The Sun', only to be cut off early by a commercial. Trent Reznor wasn't happy, tweeting: "Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys."
  4. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis beat everyone in the hip-hop section, which isn't nice.
  5. The performances were nice. Which is nice.

So there we go. Not much really happened. It was all very nice. Check out all the performances below, along with the winners list.
