Instead of finding it interminably depressing that he had reached the milestone age of a quarter century (or maybe he did), the anonymous, Nashville-dwelling brain behind indie project Grave Pool uploaded some songs "during the last hour" of his life before turning 25.

One of these is the lo-fi-ish 'Frost Pockets', a soaring entity of hazily jangling dreampop – drums fizz with white noise cymbals, delayed guitars are wild with flanger, vocals reverb endlessly; as its title suggests, it is an exhalation of cold breath, a beautiful whoosh of icy air.

It comes from Grave Pool's first and only release, Dinosaur Hell, a 3-track EP available on Bandcamp now for just $1 (or more).
