Things have not been doing do well for rapper Gucci Mane this past week. Seemingly without reason, at least to his followers, Mane had what appeared to be a Twitter breakdown, channeling Azealia Bank's notorious tendency to start beef with everyone on Twitter. During this, Mane mainly took shots at people he has worked with, including Birdman, Drake, and Rick Ross. To top it off, he was later arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and the possession of weed, before being taken to hospital.

Luckily, there is an upside to this case of 'worst week ever'. After reinstating his Twitter account last night, Mane not only apologised for his actions but also took complete responsibility for them and the reason why it occurred. Apologising to his friends, family, and the industry as a whole - specifically Birdman, Drake, and Rick Ross - Gucci tweeted, "Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I'm so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention."

He then revealed why he was the way he was, revealing his addiction to codeine, "I've been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit I'm addicted to lean & that shit ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse."

Mane then tweeted that he was to immediately book himself into rehab once he left incarceration in the hospital, admitting that he needs help and that he appreciates the support from those behind him in such hard times.
