God I missed these girls. Brooklyn-based Habibi were responsible for one of my favourite albums of 2014, and the radio silence has only made my heart grow fonder. Thankfully they're back with a brand new EP next month, and the good news doesn't end here: the girls are also playing their first UK/EU tour ever -- quite a treat for those of us no fortunate/rich enough to catch them live on the other side of the Atlantic.

Following lead single 'Nedayeh Bahar' earlier this year, is 'Gypsy Love' - a hypnotising track that we're thrilled to premiere today. Mixing their customary coolness with Arabic undertones (Cardamom Garden is their first release to feature lyrics in Farsi), the track evokes enchanted urban microcosmos and witchery sisterhoods: "she's my love, my Eastern love/ she's my love, sweet gypsy love," they sing, changing the girl-meets-boy lyrics' game into a much more interesting, Pagan-like evocation. Listen below.
