Previously known for her roles in True Grit, Pitch Perfect 2, Taylor Swift's co-star in the video for 'Bad Blood' – not to mention that she's also modelled for Miu Miu – 18-year-old Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld has today become a future pop star. She announced her recent signing to Republic Records with brand new single called 'Love Myself'. It's as four-to-the-floor, piano-chord-laden, yelling-chanting-vocals as any good pop song of today should be and as such it's most likely going to win itself a fair few fans.

Charlie Walk, Republic Records executive vice president, had this to say of the news:

"The moment that we met Hailee, we found her commitment to music inspiring. She has the vision, natural talent and dedication to compete at the highest level. We are thrilled to be a part of her musical journey."

Steinfeld's debut album, unnamed as of yet, is nevertheless under construction with help from Captain Cuts, Harvey Mason, The Futuristics, Mattman & Robin (MXM), Pete Wenz, amongst others.
