Nico â You Forgot to Answer
A really touching Nico song. And the pump organ is so warm and dynamic. One of my top five favourite instruments.
Animal Collective & Vashti Bunyan â Prospect Hummer
A perfect song for daydreaming or when you're slightly hung over and feel cheerful in a weird way.
Brian Eno â Here Come The Warm Jets
Guitar riffs in thick layers that can melt ice!
Suicide â Dream Baby Dream
I once discovered this song in one of the smallest and best bars in Oslo. They play vinyls only and their drinks are made with a lot of love, and just when I thought life couldn't be any better they put on Dream baby Dream.
Daniel Johnston â Walking The Cow
Simply a great song. TV on the Radio have done a good cover version of it, but knowone can beat Daniel Johnston himself.
Blonde Redhead â Silently
It might be a weird BRH choise - probably one of their poppiest songs. But it has the ability to make you feel in love in a sad way.
The Knife â Heartbeats
A great hit song, impossible to get sick of. So dark and so catchy.
Atlas Sound â Walkabout
Good times with a hint of nostalgia. That's the way we like it.
Linda Perhacs - Chimacum Rain
Linda Perhacs is a weird one. A wonderful track. And her voice is also very comforting if you are slightly scared of traveling by plane.
T. Rex â Cosmic Dancer
Makes me think of being a kid, listening to loud music and pretending to do a rock show alone in my room behind locked doors.
