Panes' track 'Stills' gets some right good remixing from Sivey, a Manchester-based affiliate of kind-of-a-big-deal, Soulection. A collision of cosmic-flavoured synths, horizontally laid-back lounge chords, clashing cymbals sailing through a bristling beat, treating the vocals to a low-low pitch-shifting every now and again, wiggling wonky electronic leads swooping around with urban sharpness.

It's an entirely new atmosphere, nocturnal and sophisticated, cocktail-glass-shaped, neon signage points you to a hyper-exclusive basement club down an alley at the bottom of the tallest skyscraper in town.

'Stills' is out 23rd November. Oh, and the Stockholm-and-London duo will also be supporting East India Youth at Heaven, London, this Thursday 13th November. Get tickets for that here.
