Ahead of their new album House on Fire, out later this year, US band Hembree are releasing ‘Almost’, an upbeat, 80s-era single with an incredible fuzz riff throughout. Frontman Isaac Flynn tells us that “the song is through the lens of a relationship...it’s a song with a bit of a lament. A what could we have been? scenario.”

Probably best known for ‘Holy Water’, a track that was used by Apple for a TV spot in 2018, the quintet hailing from Kansas have had an incredible 12 months. Made up of Isaac Flynn, Garrett Childers, Eric Davis, Alex Ward and Austin Ward, Rolling Stone named them as the “best artist we saw at SXSW.” Hembree have shared the stage with the likes of Elvis Costello, Phoenix, and Cold War Kids so make sure to keep a look out for their future performances.

Hembree’s ‘Almost’ is out March 8th, but your early listen starts below.
