Two incarnations of Black Flag reunited this year, and it's never stopped being a complicated affair for any of the band members involved.

Black Flag will tour with Greg Ginn at the helm, whereas ex-Black Flag bandmates Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Dez Cadena, Bill Stevenson, and the Descendents guitarist Stephen Egerton will be active as FLAG.

Ginn has filed a lawsuit against FLAG - with the group's most famous Henry Rollins cited as a defendant in the case.

Claiming ownership of the Black Flag trademark under his label SST Records, Ginn has accused FLAG (including Rollins) of "lying to the Trademark Office on registrations; using his own label's record covers to feign as though they’ve been continuing to use Black Flag since 1979, and in an what's alleged to be an act of 'outrageous fraud', using bootleg SST t-shirts in an attempt to show they've been making such products in that time."

Both bands are currently touring despite their legal troubles. The whole law suit is here, if you're interested.
