This is It Forever and Denovali Records presents HER NAME IS CALLA and WORRIEDABOUTSATAN UK and European Tour 2010 The excellent experimentalists Her Name is Calla and down-tempo beatniks Worriedaboutsatan are to tour the UK and Europe together in March and April of 2010. The UK tour encompasses a long awaited return to Scotland at Glasgow's intimate Flying Duck, preceding a Her Name is Calla only date at Newcastle's legendary The Cluny. From there follows spiritual homecoming dates at the beloved Holy Trinity Church, Leeds and the Firebug, Leicester. Thence, the tour concludes at The Lexington in Islington, London, before both bands head into mainland Europe in April. Definitely make it your mission to catch these bands if you like your beats and swirls on the down-tempo, experimental and ambient side. Both bands make for some pretty intense listening - they'll be the kinds of gigs where you'll just want to close your eyes and sway no doubt! After a brief hiatus at the beginning of 2009, Her Name is Calla continued the critical momentum gained from mini-album The Heritage by securing a European deal with Denovali Recods which saw the mini album re-issued and finally pressed to vinyl in the autumn. Their limited edition handmade DVD/CD package A Blood Promise previewed a tentative terrain which would become their first 'full length' album. Eagerly anticipated by fans and critics alike, The Quiet Lamb is set for release in Spring, which is preceded by the first offering Long Grass, a 10" single and download exclusive to Denovali, out 26th January 2010. Worriedaboutsatan released debut album Arrivals last year, attracting some pretty great press. An online only Arrivals remixed was released in December, and they are now previewing and working on new material for their next release.
