Forbes has compiled a list of the least profitable films in existence this year. One thing is for sure: it's not been a great year for some pretty big names. Bill Murray, Sienna Miller, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Sean Penn, Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone - names don't matter when the subject material ain't up to par. Here are the top ten - in order of least to not-so-least profitable.

1. Rock the Kasbah | Budget: $15 million | Box Office: $2.9 million
The Bill Murray film also currently has an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

2. The Gunman | Budget: $40 million | Box Office: $10.7 million
Sean Penn stars in this average ex-assassin movie.

3. Blackhat | Budget: $70 million | Box Office: $19.4 million
Viola Davis and Chris Hemsworth star in this hacking-themed film. Roger Ebert liked it.

4. Unfinished Business | Budget: $35 million | Box Office: $14.4 million
Sienna Miller and Vince Vaughn didn't make this story of quit-job-to-start-rival-company any more fun.

5. Jem and the Holograms | Budget: $5 million | Box Office: $2.3 million
This remake of the '80s cartoon probably didn't do very well because it exchanged the original, leading-a-double-life story to one of empty YouTube success.

6. Self/Less | Budget: $23 million | Box Office: $12.6 million
A consciousness (Ben Kingsley) transferred into a new body (Ryan Reynolds)... wasn't this Karl Pilkington's film idea?

7. American Ultra | Budget: $28 million | Box Office: $15.4 million
Are (quasi-)stoner comedies more fun for stoners?

8. We Are Your Friends | Budget: $3.6 million | Box Office: $6 million
Nobody thought this would be good. Should be the least profitable, up there at number 1.

9. Aloha | Budget: $37 million | Box Office: $26.3 million
Other than Bradley Cooper and Jim from The Office (US), very whitebread actor Emma Stone plays real life part-Chinese, part-Hawaiian Allison Ng.

10. Mortdecai | Budget: $60 million | Box Office: $47.3 million
Meh.
