Last year, Skepta made history with his album Konnichiwa, which took home the 2016 Hyundai Mercury Prize. And this year, it looks like the top UK musical award could make another great decision as the 2017 shortlist was announced and doesn't look bad at all.

On top of Alt-J's Relaxer and Ed Sheeran's Divide earning a spot on the list, Sampha claimed a spot with Process, while Stormzy and J Hus claimed a position with their debut albums Gang Signs & Prayer and Common Sense. The winner will be announced on September 14.
