Meet New Zealand born, Sydney based, self-proclaimed "jazz nerd" Wallace. She's a singer/songwriter who has already impressed many with her early releases online.

For new single 'Negroni Eyes' Wallace enlists the production hands of Dave Rodriguez aka Godriguez, who manages to slice and dice some stems of Miles Davis' instrumental 'Nardis' - a request from Wallace herself as it's one of her favourite Jazz songs. The inspiration for the track came when Wallace saw a Frida Kahlo quote she saw written on a chalkboard in a Mexican restaurant, but ultimately she describes it as "an ode to vices and their ability to mask problems and not deal with them."

If you're loving 'Negroni Eyes' as much as we are, you can grab it on her Bandcamp page right now. I'd also suggest keeping your eye on this one for 2016.
