Over the last couple of years, Auckland, New Zealand based musician Jordan Arts has been slipping out some slickly produced tropical synth-pop jams under his HIGH HØØPS alias. After drawing inspiration from a trip to Los Angeles to perform at Red Bull Sound Select's #30DaysInLA festival, Arts has returned to SoundCloud with a new piece of vibe music titled 'Ultramood'.

Released via Auckland collective A Label Called Success, 'Ultramood' sees Arts juxtaposing vibrant coastal synthesiser lines with shuffling drum machine funk, wobbly bass vibrations, skipping percussion and the wistful vocal refrain, "I was hoping we could take some days off, I've been wishing we could maybe lay low."

Within its three-and-a-half-minute run time, he finds a compromise between the laidback lifestyles and sounds of California and the greater Auckland region coastline.
