One of our favourite bands, Hold Your Horse Is have released a pay-what-you want live album, ‘Like, Live and Stuff’, for download via http://holdyourhorseis.bandcamp.com All the cash raised from the digital release will go towards the recording of their as –yet untitled debut studio album, due for recorded this summer. Tarrant Anderson, Dive Dive and Frank Turner’s bassist, described the album as sounding like a “tank rolling through a house” on his first listen, and we cannot only back that up but confirm it is a huge compliment. Featured on the album is the new, and previously unreleased, ‘Absurd’ – a sign of what is to come on the record. If you want to hear more like this, we suggest you dig deep and help the lads out. The three-piece have also announced they will be heading out on tour in early June, alongside Ute. You can catch them at the following venues: 01/06 –Edge of the Wedge, PORTSMOUTH. 02/06 –The Flapper, BIRMINGHAM. 03/06 –Ryans Bar, DERBY. (Free Entry) 04/06 –Brixton Windmill, LONDON. (Cats and Cats and Cats All-Dayer) 05/06 –The Croft, BRISTOL.
