Update: A video for 'Scud Books' has just appeared. It features sped-up shots of flowers opening on a black backdrop mixed footage from HudMo's live shows, soundtracked of course by track itself, which rings with stalwart abrasive brass sounds and clusters of bleeps. Watch below.

Benji B had something of a HudMo extravaganza on BBC Radio 1 last night as he aired the "Hudson Mohwake Album Special", in which he talked to Hudson Mohwake and played a few tracks from the upcoming album Lantern. The show also featured lots of unreleased material and a new mix from HudMo himself.

Tracks played were 'Kettles', title track 'Lantern', 'Scud Books' and 'Indian Steps', which features Antony Hegarty. You can listen to the show here.

Lantern is out 16th June. We've already heard the soul-sampling 'Ryderz' and Irfane-featuring 'Very First Breath' – there's also a video for the latter, if you haven't seen that.
