Technology has yet again taken another leap forward with the reveal of a whole comic strip being etched onto a piece of human hair. To promote the upcoming Exceptional Hardware Software Meeting (EHSM) in Hamburg, Germany, a team of DIY artists and scientists have etched the world's smallest comic strip on a single human hair. A great act of self promotion but why do this I hear you all cry?

A result of a hairbrained idea? EHSM doesn't think so

The reason for doing this is simple; EHSM brings the best minds together to advance the human reach in all areas of technology with other experiments on show being just as forward thinking. There are talks on nuclear fusion, chip design, vacuum equipment machining, and applied quantum physics with tutorials also being aimed at children because you are never too young to learn how to create a flux capacitor.

This may sound far fetched and useless, however the art of bettering oneself through human DIY evolution has been around for a while now, it's so close to home that even my house mate is attempting to advance himself through a range of Silicon Valley nutjob smoothies.
