GOG.com has released quite an obscure title today. Known for being a visceral psychological point-and-click adventure game, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream will be available for download for $5.99 on Windows 8 and Windows 7 PCs.

The story takes place in the future where an advanced computer called A.M destroys the human race and keeps five humans alive to constantly torture for the next 109 years.

It's a pretty grim story and very disturbing for its time. It was originally based on a short story of the same name by Harlan Ellison. The original story differs quite a lot from the videogame (even though Harlan Ellison was intimately involved in the creation of the game, even down to providing A.M's voice) and I dare say the videogame version fleshes out the story a bit better.
