That's not a typo in our headline; Iceland Airwaves have really announced 50 news acts to play the festival.

This follows on from the news we brought you yesterday that Nedry would be among those at the festival, which will run from October 12th - 16th in Reykjavík over a plethora of venues.

These join other previously confirmed acts such as Björk, Beach House, Austra, Ólöf Arnalds, tUnE-yArDs, Team Me and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to name but a few.
