Following the release of their stellar third studio album, Sundur, Icelandic sister duo Pascal Pinon have revealed the positively stirring new video for the track 'Orange', reminding us all again of how enigmatically beautiful Iceland can be.

Directed and produced by Magnus Andersen, 'Orange' features the sweeping dance talents of Halla Þórðardóttir and Sigurður Andrean Sigurgeirsson (with choreography by Heba Eir Kjeld), swaying in the naturalist landscape captured by the wilted folk stylings of the track.

On the song itself, Jófríõur explains, "The main themes in 'Orange' is wordplay (repeating phrases but changing one word to alter the whole meaning), diary - or a kind of memoir-styled lyrics and imagining you're in a piano bar in the '50s singing about your loves and tragedies."

"The video portrays the story in the lyrics," she continues, "the three love affairs, two failed ones and one hopeful one at the end."

Distance is a pervasive theme in not only the track itself but Sundur as a whole. Recorded over the span of a year-and-a-half, the album follows 2013's Twosomeness, which the sisters view as a companion piece to the new record. After finishing touring following the release of the '13 album the two separated for the first time in their lives, with Ásthildur moving to Amsterdam (and then back to Iceland) to study music while Jófríður toured the world with her other band Samaris.

Reconnecting after spending their first time apart, recording Sundur only took a matter of two days (due to scheduling), which featured the help of their composer father Áki Ásgeirsson. The rushed rawness, the two feel, is integral to the final picture of the album.

"It makes the album feel more real and raw which is what it essentially is all about," writes Jófríður. "It's very sparse and a lot closer in the approach and in regards to the sound of our very first album. It's kind of funny that seven years later, we would go back to the same place where we were at age 14!
