Icona Pop's signature 'I Don't Care' attitude may have launched them into cultural icon status last year, but the two might do well to reel in the flippancy in their day to day - it could get them into trouble. Like that time they publicly mistook Waka Flocka Flame for Ty Dolla $ign.

Erm, yep, that happened. Above you'll see a (now deleted) Instagram post Icona Pop posted showing them posing with a tall dreaded man - the caption reads: "It's our party and we do what we want with our homie... @tydollasign". Trouble is, the guy in that picture is most definitely not LA rapper Ty Dolla $ign, and definitely is Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame. Whoopsies!

Poor Icona Pop realized their mistake, probably when Ty got tagged and was all, "um yeah, that's not me 'homie.'" They deleted the post, but not before at least 160 people liked it, and also not before we got our grubby little hands on it. In the spirit of understanding and reconciliation, I'm going to give Icona Pop the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe it was a really quick, non-descript conversation.

Maybe they knew they'd be seeing Ty that day, and that presumption got the best of them. Who knows, maybe all of them were on Molly, and no one gives a crap! (This is me pitter-pattering around that dirty R-word without saying it because I really don't want to open that can of worms, and I want to believe this was an honest mistake, but come on.) But this little incident teaches us a nice lesson about manners, jumping to conclusions, and virtual foot-in-mouth syndrome. Think before you post: don't be that girl!

A Handy Guide for Icona Pop:

1. Ty Dolla $ign is the guy on the left. Waka Flocka Flame is on the right.
2. Ty Dolla $ign is from LA. Waka Flocka Flame is from Atlanta.
3. Ty Dolla $ign is 28. Waka Flocka Flame is 27. This might explain the confusion.
