Emerging indie rock act TALK TIME has promptly returned with their sensuous single, ‘True North’. The LA-based quintet shines once again, pulling off the hat-trick with their third single of the year. Born out of a warehouse in Lincoln Heights, which is located in East Los Angeles, the five comrades sonically explore the intricacies of experimental synth-pop and refined indie rock. With the unification of genres, the band is anthemic and lyrically expressive as they exhibit their affinity for bracing synths and crafty storytelling.

‘True North’ follows the early summer release of Year of Self’ and the late summer release of ‘Desperate Weather’. All three tracks are polished and coated with the band’s brand of smooth experimental pop. With ‘True North’, TALK TIME find themselves on a pathway of sophisticated indie rock with pit stops in the localities of dream-pop and 80s pop rock. TALK TIME’s latest offering exudes a SoCal radiance with all the sunny vibes and warm undertones one could ever need in order to pull through during these looming wintertime blues.

Collectively the band mentioned that ‘True North’ is “about finding perspective and keeping love as a compass in this terrifying, ambiguous, but beautiful life.”
