Indoor Pets recently released 'Hi', a fuzzed-up monster and a signal of their intent after having signed with Wichita Recordings. They've now followed up on this statement with the announcement of their debut record Be Content, which will be coming out on March 8th, along with the self-loving anthem 'Being Strange'.

The foursome doesn't waste time in 'Being Strange', the stripped-down guitar intro allowing singer Jamie Glass to immediately lay himself bare: "I have regrets and disappointments/ I can't pretend I don't/ I'm trying my best to be the worst at anything people want." Before the weight of those words has time to really settle, Indoor Pets blow it up with a monster riff and the unabashed chorus: "I like being strange/ It's an easy fit for me." With the sheer joy of that emphatic admission, Indoor Pets ride out the rest of 'Being Strange' in a fit of excitement; wailing guitars, power-pop melodies and multiple repeats of that lovable mission statement.
