Ink Project, the live electronic/soul collective formed in multi-instrumentalist/producer Jez Lloyd's hometown of London, first released their debut album Inside The Sun via the Blind Colour imprint in December 2011. Years, (a remix project and a surging single) later, the fervent group are prepping the release of their sophomore offering Satellite On, which set for delivery on March 13.

The countdown continues with new single 'Time,' setting the precident for what we'll be hearing on the 10-track opus, fusing reggae spice with electronic influence, alongside new Trinidadian vocalist Coreysan. "'Time' is lyrically and melodically one of the high points of Satellite On and a track that Ink Project always looking forward to playing live. A typically relaxing dub/reggae beat lays down the backbone of the song, whilst shimmering electronics, harmonised alien voices, field recording samples, gospel hums, rhodes keyboard and expressive strings float in and out of the soundtrack-like mix, creating a background of calm while slowly unraveling the deep tones of vocalist Coreysan's soothing yet majestic vocals," the band says.

"The song is about how time moves too fast and why you shouldn't really be scared of or fear anything in life; especially if it all turns out to be an illusion in the end. You have to make the most of everything while your alive without causing heartache for people – loving as much as possible and at every opportunity. So I guess it’s a kind of universal reality check for the listener."
