Ealing, West London isn’t exactly synonymous with bands. It’s a place where the last bastion of live music is being turned into yet another gastro pub. But out of this quagmire crawls Nymph. Combining the raw, no frills sound of early 90’s grunge with melancholy lyrics and haunting melodies, Nymph shows are raucous and passionate leaving the audience in a feedback induced trance. The band, who are in their early 20’s, formed at the start of 2010 and consist of Simon Stark (Guitar, Vocals), Rich Leeds (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Chris Mill (Drums). They are currently recording their first EP, which will be released at the end of August. In the meantime, however, you can catch them at the Flowerpot in Camden tomorrow (15th August), where they will be taking part in the Bumfluff All-dayer; a free event showcasing bands such as Belgrade, Monday's Arms and Depot. Starting at 3pm, Nymph are on at 5 - don't miss it! http://www.myspace.com/nymphuk Photo by Tom Parrott; http://www.intomwetrust.com/
