The world's most unproductive sites, Twitter and Facebook, were accidentally available to all Iran residents over the past 24 hours in what officials are calling a "technical glitch".

If you didn't know, the social networking giants are blocked in the state after they were widely used by Opposition supporters during mass street protests following the disputed 2009 re-election of Mr. Rouhani's predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Glitch or not, there was huge surge of food pictures and selfies from the state (this may not actually be true).
