I have to admit, I don't know much about roller derby, but after watching the brand new video from Brighton-via-Australia rockers Animal House for 'Figure It Out', I know I would be absolutely terrible at it. From what I've gathered, the point is to knock the opposing team to the ground and jump over them for points, and I've also learned that the dudes in Animal House are also pretty awful at it compared to the opposing team, the Brighton Rockers. Despite that, it looks like it was one hell of a fun time, and from the sounds of it the band's own Jack Nielsen agrees:

"I thought it'd be fun to do a video of us playing roller derby, I don't remember what sparked it. One night, straight after I suggested the idea to Will in a pub, a girl I'm friends with came in wearing roller derby clothes. So it was just fate really - it had to be done. Animal House vs Brighton Rockers was on."

All of the best ideas come about in pubs, don't they? The snarling, attitude-laced 'Figure It Out' drops on 25 May, and you can watch it below. The band are also playing a handful of gigs later on this month, including a stop at The Great Escape, and the dates are after the video.
