Like most artists that died too young, J Dilla has been honoured in various ways following his passing. From posthumous albums, to a specific day dedicated to his brilliance, we've had it all. Well, until now..

In celebration of the incredible Donuts, his uncle Herman Hayes has decided to open up a donut shop in Detroit called Dilla's Delights.

"He was on his deathbed making Donuts, and I felt like that was partly a tribute to me," says Hayes. "I felt I should honour that and respect that and give back to him."

According to The Detroit News, 20 organic donuts will be sold, all inspired by J Dilla's life (McNasty Macaroons is our favourite). The shop will be sountracked by J Dilla's music, and the people he sampled.
