Following the news that J Dilla's 8'000 strong record collection had been found by a record shop owner over in the U.S., it seems that the mother of the late hip-hop producer Maureen 'Ma Dukes' Yancey will be meeting with UHF owner Jeff Bubeck to try and authenticate the collection.

The news of Bubeck selling the records was met with a lot of negativity, but Yancey doesn't see it that way:

"I'm not angry about it at all. I'm grateful. (Bubeck) has done nothing wrong, he just acquired something that seemed to be useful to a lot of people."

The personal items that Bubeck found with the collection will be "never be offered for sale." [via Detroit News]
