It seems that, while the rest of us are begrudgingly going back to work probably still hungover from New Year's Eve and definitely feeling the effects of Christmas, Jack White is not deterred by the post-holiday blues that makes it so difficult to get back into any sort of routine.

The Third Man Records chief, while also organising the release of vinyl for the Elephant singles, has been working on, not one, but two albums, one of which seems to be his own. In a fan-exclusive chat with members of his Vault subscription he said that he is producing, and finishing, two albums this month, one of which was to be his. We can assume that it is a solo album, the follow up to 2012's Blunderbuss, as, last winter, White said in an interview with Rolling Stone that he had been recording tracks with his live band and had around 20 or 25 tracks but with no real plan for what to do with them. It seems he is keeping quiet on the actual details for now but he's sure to officially reveal something soon enough.
