Record Store Day inspires some artists to do some pretty ridiculous things for their releases, but Jack White has just announced a pretty awesome (and incredibly ambitious) plan for the holiday. Previously he's announced singles via 1,000 helium balloons and released the first-ever triple decker vinyl record, but now he's got a plan to record, press, and release a single all in the same day.

On April 19, he'll take the helm at his own Third Man Records HQ in Nashville to record his new single 'Lazzaretto'. From there the masters will be run over to United Record Pressing, who will be pressing 45s of the single while the sleeves are printed using photographs from the show. They'll then be rushed back to Third Man HQ, where they'll be sold if you're looking to get your hands on one. It doesn't look like there's a limit on the number that will be pressed that day either, as a press release states "as long as there are fans in line waiting to buy the single, United will continue to press and deliver them to Third Man to sell. Even if it takes all day".

If you want to attend the show you have to be a member of the Third Man Records' Vault, but anyone can pick up a copy of the 'Lazzaretto' single once it's available.
