Correct, the soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino's 1997 film Jackie Brown is getting a fresh new release on vinyl. The film stars Pam Grier in the title role, alongside Robert Forster, Robert De Niro, Samuel L. Jackson, Bridget Fonda and Michael Keaton. The vinyl version of the soundtrack is set for release on 28th October, according to Modern Vinyl. Since it's a Quentin Tarantino-curated soundtrack, odds are it'll be snapped up by collectors and fans pretty quickly.

And, as with most of his films' soundtracks, it's made up of pre-existing music with almost no, or completely no, original material (see the tracklist at the end of this post). So Jackie Brown's soundtrack includes songs from Bill Withers, Johnny Cash, Bobby Womack, and a morsel of music from leading lady Pam Grier: 'Long Time Woman'. She originally recorded it for the 1971 film The Big Doll House, in which she also featured, and you can listen to it below.
