Things we know: James Murphy hates dance music, loves coffee, and loves film scores. He also apparently loves tennis, as he's teaming up with IBM to use the raw data from US Open tennis matches that will create an algorithm that will be its own musical piece. It's pretty ambitious and incredibly unique, and once the US Open is all said and done they'll have 400 hours of music on their hands.

In a trailer for the project, which you can watch below, Murphy explains “I’m not writing music,” adding “I’m generating probabilities for music.”
