Splitting recording time between her homes in San Francisco and Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt has announced her sophomore album On Your Own Love Again.

Her soft, vulnerable 2012 self-titled debut gave a window into Pratt's mulled aesthetic; a shining veneer in the style of Vashti Bunyan. Very much so, Pratt seemed indelibly attached to the folk movements of her aforementioned San Francisco in the '60s, lifting delicate verses and cautiously simple guitar progressions throughout her debut.

On her leap to Drag City, Pratt seems to be positioning herself in her natural niche. Part of On Your Own Love Again was even recorded during 2012, with no intention to use it as part of a future album.

The album is set for release January 27th, 2015.
