Def Jam confirmed Joaquin Phoenix's contributions to Pusha-T's new My Name Is My Name LP after rumours were spread far and wide about the eccentric actor's involvement on track 'King Push'.

As it turns out though, Joaquin claims that he didn't really have that much of an input on the record, saying:

"While it was widely reported that Pusha T used my beat and that I produced his song, I can’t take any credit...A friend’s son played me his music, and all I did was make an introduction to Kanye’s camp."

The album is due to drop next week, so we'll be able to see if it's any better (or worse) for Phoenix's non-involvement.
