With a newfound musical confidence, Jordan Rakei pushes ahead with his forthcoming album Cloak, which is due next month. "Usually I'm quite shy when I'm showing people my music," he said in a press release. "But when I play my album, it just speaks for itself because it covers so many sound palettes."

The latest cut from the album to be unveiled is 'Blame It On The Youth' which is a funky-fresh-dressed throwback R&B styled track with a flair for Jazz that has a little hint of Justin Timberlake, and a touch of Sampha; maybe this is what their impossible lovechild might sound like? Who knows. What we do know, however, is this is dope and should certainly be enjoyed on a mass scale.

'Blame it On The Youth' is available now while his album Cloak will follow on June 3 via 4101 Records and Soul Has No Tempo.
