Jorja Smith has had an incomparable year. Since the release of her debut single 'Blue Lights' in January, she's continued to stun over and over with loose songs that all easily evolved into hits. And now, Jorja is prepping the release of her new EP, Project 11.

To kick off the roll-out, she stopped by Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show to premiere the project's lead single 'Something in the Way.' "I wrote it with the other songs about a year and a half ago," Jorja said. "I sang classical at school so I always like putting elements—like Prince always has classical elements—so, with this song, you don't really know what to expect with all these operatic sounds. And then it goes into a bit of attitude. I'm giving a bit of attitude on this song." Listen below.
