Manchester native JP Cooper is probably one of the most hotly tipped artists of recent years. The singer/songwriter has built a loyal fan base from scratch, off of his independently released EPs and highly praised live performances - even selling out Koko in London for one of his biggest shows to date.

Ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, which is due to be released later this year, JP unveils the stunning 'Party' which perhaps might seem a little misinformed when you listen to it. Rather than this being for the party, as it were, this is for those late night moments when the lights come on in the club and you're not quite ready to leave.

Co-written and produced by Teemu Brunila, it's a heart-warming, emotive track with a bassline that's surprising quite apt for the club while keeping within JP's signature sound. "I'm so happy to finally be sharing my new song 'Party' with you," JP said in a press release. "This is the first song to be released from my forthcoming album and is the song that formed the relationship with Finnish writer/producer Teemu Brunila. Teemu and I are currently finishing the album in Finland. For now, enjoy 'Party'."

JP Cooper heads out on his biggest UK tour to date in October, which includes a stop at London's O2 Forum, Kentish Town. Tickets are available now from JP's official website. 'Party' is available on all good digital platforms, with the accompanying EP including remixes from Niklas Ibach as well as a new version featuring Kojey Radical.
